Reasons to Become an RV Foodie
One of the many reasons to hit the open road in an RV is to enjoy new restaurants and food experiences. It’s something a lot of people don’t often think about until they hit the road and find themselves realizing that they are “experts at finding and choosing top-notch experiences.”
Many realize that it’s fun and easy with smartphones to research their next meal while on the road. Things like Yelp, Facebook, Bloggers, and Youtube have given access to choosing what experience you’d like to have.
There are so many options when it comes to the type of experience you want. Here are a few of our favorite examples from previous RV Trips:Beach Restaurants:
It’s relaxing to listen to the waves come in while you eat a fantastic meal.Waterfront Restaurants:
People watch, boat watch, dolphin watch, and many restaurants have pretty unique experiences for their guests.Live Music:
The freedom of RVing allows you to go ANYWHERE you want. If you’re a music lover, take a family vacation in Nashville or a local event.Decks on RVs:
Some RVs have decks on the back or the sides. They come on Travel Trailers, 5th Wheels, Toy Haulers, Class A’s, and Class C’s. If you love getting out into the wilderness or tailgating, Grilling on an RV Deck is for you!
Fresh Local Food:
It’s fun to buy and eat from the people who grew the food on their farms or ranches. It might just be me, but I think it makes the food taste better. We’re often surprised at the type of agriculture that goes on in the areas we travel to.Cool or Random:
Sometimes the most random places give us the best memories. This restaurant passed the food from the kitchen to the servers from this camper.
